Thermodynamic AQ – TB range

What is AQ-TB?
AQ-TD is an innovative thermodynamic heat pump system that utilizes solar energy to operate with enhanced efficiency. It features a specialized panel, which serves as the evaporator in the refrigerant circuit. This design significantly boosts performance by effectively harnessing solar radiation and energy from the surrounding air, allowing for optimal energy conversion and improved heating capabilities. By integrating renewable energy sources, AQ-TB not only reduces reliance on traditional energy but also contributes to a more sustainable future.
The system is available in the following capacities:
- AQ – TB 100 litre
- AQ – TB 150 litre
- AQ – TB 200 litre
- AQ – TB 250 litre
- AQ – TB 300 litre
- AQ – TB 500 litre

Thermodynamic Panel
Unlike photovoltaic or traditional solar thermal panels, thermodynamic panels offer a unique advantage as they do not need to be placed in full sunlight to function effectively. While they do absorb heat from direct sunlight, they also have the remarkable ability to extract heat from the ambient air, even during the night when sunlight is not available. This capability makes them an excellent choice for various climates and conditions.
The aluminium roll-bond panel is designed for efficiency and convenience, weighing just 6.2 kg, which makes it a very lightweight option that can be easily installed in a wide range of locations, maximizing versatility.
Features
- Can operate without direct solar radiation, ensuring consistent performance regardless of weather conditions.
- The panel lifetime exceeds 25 years, providing long-term reliability and value for users.
- For installation flexibility, the panel can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, allowing for customization based on specific space requirements and aesthetic preferences. This adaptability further enhances its appeal for residential and commercial applications alike.
Do I need to replace my cylinder?
Our retrofit Green E-Pack System can be fitted to suit existing cylinders depending on the quality of the cylinder. We would recommend on using a cylinder with a separate coil.
How many panels do I need?
For Thermodynamic systems a single panel will suffice up to 300 Liters. A two panel system can support up to 500 Liters.
