What is AQ Lite air-to-water retrofit?

AQ Lite is an innovative air-to-water retrofit heat pump system that seamlessly integrates with existing water tanks, making it a practical choice for homeowners looking to enhance their current setups. It is an efficient and cost-effective solution to upgrade older systems without the need for a complete replacement. AQ Lite maintains water at the perfect temperature throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions. This advanced system not only saves energy but also significantly reduces heating costs and extends the life of your water heating system, all without the expense of installing a new tank.

Utilizing modern heat pump technology, AQ Lite delivers reliable hot water while minimizing environmental impact, making it an eco-friendly choice for sustainable living. It operates quietly and efficiently, providing consistent performance and peace of mind. To ensure optimal functionality, we require at least two coils in your cylinder—one designated for the retrofit system and the other for a backup oil or gas source. This configuration guarantees a dependable hot water supply even during extreme weather conditions or periods of high demand.

Indoor-Outdoor Connection

This air-to-water system extracts energy from the air inside the home from an area that is not heated; the air is expelled to the outside through a ducted tube.

Double Internal Connection

The system extracts energy from the air inside the home from an area that is not heated, whose dimensions and ventilation conditions allow it to be used as an energy source, and pours the cold air into this or another area that allows it.

The system extracts energy from the outside air and also expels cold air outside. It is necessary to route the air inlet to the equipment and the air outlet of the equipment.

Do I need to replace my cylinder?

Our retrofit Green E-Pack System can be fitted to suit existing cylinders depending on the quality of the cylinder. We would recommend on using a cylinder with a separate coil.
